taking the sport by storm since 2010

Toxic – The Green & Black Destruction Machine

where it started

Toxic started life as a turn-key racing machine designed and built by the expert team at Patrick Enterprises, Inc. in 2010. It then hit the circuit under the operation of Petri Motorsports from Sardinia, NY with Travis Petri at the wheel. Competing throughout the northeast United States and Canada, it quickly became apparent that Toxic was not to be overlooked. Featuring a massive supercharged big block engine producing well over 1,400 horsepower and a detailed fiberglass body depicting a scene run rampant by toxic waste, the new player in the scene quickly became the top dog.

In 2015, Gilbert Motorsports of Fairfax, VA acquired the Toxic operation to introduce fans across the east coast to this stellar piece of mechanical engineering, with Kris Gilbert taking control. Under the operation of Gilbert Motorsports, the Toxic name continued to grow in the sport and reach new heights.

In 2018, Warped Motor Sports of Gaithersburg, MD acquired Team Toxic. Headed up by industry veteran Jay Snyder and represented on the track by second generation up-and-comer Cory Snyder, the father-son operation intended on taking Toxic to new heights – and they did just that. Including first appearances in the sport’s flagship series Monster Jam and a slew of parts upgrades, Toxic continued to impress and make appearances in the winner’s circle.

In 2020, in light of the uncertain times in the world, The Snyders introduced a new chapter to the Toxic legacy with the help of the team at The Metal Shop. Toxic 2.0 debuted with state-of-the-art designs and components, featuring a revolutionary suspension geometry, data logging capabilties, and a mean power plant that rumbled its way to many first place finishes in its debut season. Though Toxic 2.0 spends most of its time campaigning the Illuminator body, the first iteration of Toxic still runs all over the United States with Preston Perez at the helm. Depsite over a decade of run time between its 4 oversized tires, Perez still puts Team Toxic at the top of the results and continues to get fans on their feet with every event.
